ISRAEL FUNDRAISER
Since October 7th Israel has been faced with unprecedented challenges in many different arenas. Israel and the Jewish people along with their allies have risen to face these challenges head on.
We wanted to do our part to help and found these three organizations that fill unique, heartbreaking yet necessary needs. From honoring the dead to rebuilding life these three groups of special individuals are directly involved with the victims of October 7.

The Jewish Agency for Victims of Terror
The Jewish Agency’s Fund for Victims of Terror has been providing immediate, critical financial assistance to victims and their families. They have already disbursed hundreds of grants, arriving with checks within 24-48 hours, and anticipate distributing more, while also following up with long-term overall recovery and rehabilitative support.

ZAKA
ZAKA is Israel’s dominant non-governmental rescue and recovery organization, with over 3,000 volunteers deployed around the country, on call 24/7 to respond to any terror attack, disaster or accident immediately, professionally and with the necessary equipment. ZAKA, a civilian volunteer organization with sole responsibility in Israel for dealing with incidents of unnatural death, works in close cooperation with all the emergency services and security forces. Honoring the dead is considered an act of Chesed Shel Emes (true virtue). In Judaism, this is considered the greatest mitzva (good deed) that can be performed, because the recipient has no way of repaying the kindness.

HaShomer HaChadash
HaShomer’s broad range of activities focus on agricultural volunteering programs alongside educational activities emphasizing the value of work, mutual responsibility, civic courage and love of the land. Today they are not onlysaving the individual farms and land of those hit hardest in the last few weeks, they are also insuring that Israel does not lose their food security. Additionally Hashomer trains and equips communities that have up until now been defenseless, ensuring that no community is unable to defend itself and protect its families.
